The position at a glance

The Registration & Technical Support Officer – Client Service – is tasked with the following main missions:

  • Be the focal point of contact for BNP Paribas internal partners.
  • Take ownership of issues reported/queries raised by internal partners (L1/CMO/CMTO), ensuring proper follow-through with L3 as needed.
  • Contribute to providing internal partners with the best possible Application Support experience in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Be an expert on the various e-banking products and services offered by BNP Paribas.


In detail

  • Follow the internal control framework to ensure reliability and traceability of the work done.
  • Perform regional registration, maintenance and support tasks for the Electronic Banking Suite of products offered by BNP Paribas.
  • Assist with projects in collaboration with Local IT, Cash Management and Trade product managers when required (example: new projects, UAT testing, etc.).
  • Timely handling of incoming requests, log all requests on applicable tracking tool and find an appropriate solution.
  • Maintain expertise on all product lines (Cash & Trade) and systems applicable. Continually enhance and acquire new knowledge relating to relevant product offerings of BNP Paribas in line with any product enhancements and/or regulatory changes, ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Participation in department meetings and other activities of the bank as well as handle various tasks/projects which may be assigned by manager from time to time
  • N.B. – The chosen candidate must be available to work any of the various shifts at the discretion of the manager. (Shifts are: 8am to 4pm 9am to 5pm 10am to 6pm). Availability to work on certain Canadian and US Holidays and on weekends as needed is also required.


The strengths and skills that will help you succeed

  • Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Knowledge of the English is required.
  • University degree, preferably bachelor’s in business administration or IT
  • 0 -1 year of work experience in the field of banking operations/client service or in the field of Client Management
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PPT)
  • Good working knowledge/understanding of Computers/Systems/Electronic Banking Platforms/ERP Systems
  • Good working knowledge of Cash products (Payment Structure, SWIFT, etc.) and basic understanding of Trade products (LCs, SBLCs, BGs, etc.)
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese – would be considered a strong asset
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Basic project management skills
  • Highly effective communicator, written and oral, with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a highly autonomous team environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment
  • Resourcefulness and creativity
